“For your tomorrows these gave their today.” -John Maxwell Edmonds

I’m thankful my loved ones are by my side. In my short stay on earth I’ve never experienced war personally, but Medley did. Sometimes a fire alarm would sound, or we hear a very loud and high pitched noise nearby, Medley would quickly become alert and wonder if it’s a missile drill. That’s not normal, I’d say. It is normal, he would say. I’m humbled by his life experiences often, and I will be by his side forever.Next comicsPrevious comics

Tomorrow is Remembrance Day (Canada) and Veteran’s Day (USA). We take a break from our work and rest. We remember those who gave up their lives to fight for our freedom in World War I and World War II, and hope that those horrific wars never happen again. Because this time, there is so much more at stake, the gamble is 8 billion lives, and impact irreversible. We keep going, we keep our histories relevant, no matter what race, religion, and creed. Once a year, we put ourselves aside to remember the past and learn from it.Oh, god why?Me coffee now plzSea slugs isn't enough today, I'm taking a self care day after yesterday's election. I need to reflect how far we've come, what we're becoming as a part of the entire human race, and where to go from here. Best of luck friends, we will return tomorrow.
