Who Are We?
Melody and Medley is a Canadian artist dual living in the heart of downtown Toronto.
From their one bedroom studio space, they are creating Melody and Medley (which means emergence and complexity) since summer, 2024.
Through art, they celebrate the new chapters in their lives in Canada, and their relationship.
Jakey, aka The Goodu Buoyo, is helping.
Melody (left) is the creative pen behind the comics.
She emigrated from China to Germany, U.S.A, and finally Canada the age of fourteen.
Being an artist isn't simple, she expresses herself through art and shares her work with the world.
She likes puzzles, cooking new foods, creating and trying new things, reading manga, watching tv, playing video games, exploring the city and playing Taiko no Tatsujin.
Medley (right) is the technical guru, master of all trades.
His family left Russia when he was four, and settled in Israel until he left on a cross-continent bike-tour starting from Key West, Florida, USA in January 2024.
After more than 10,000 km (6000 miles) of cycling across North America, he met Melody and they decided to settle down together.
They now permanently live in Toronto, Canada.
The Goodo Buoyo, is a mix.
He joined the family in November 2023, found by Melody on a Kijiji post asking for adoption.
The Jakey is Melody’s first dog, and Medley’s fourth, after Graff, Rei, and Apollo (plus two cats, James and Luba).
Everyday The Jakey is going to the dog p-a-r-k, having breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and many snacks in-between.
He loves to take his owners on at least 2 walks a day, and enjoys many napping sessions.
